1. Who We Are

By creating an account and using Kambulo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What Kambulo Does

Kambulo provides the following services:

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kambulo. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. Kambulo is intended for personal, non-commercial use by individual job seekers.

4. Your Account

4.1 Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@kambulo.com.

4.3 Account Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g. financial records for 7 years).

4.4 Account Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, attempt to circumvent usage limits, or use Kambulo for any prohibited purpose.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

5.1 Subscription Tiers

Kambulo offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Current pricing is displayed on our website at https://kambulo.com/pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings → Subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.

5.4 Right of Withdrawal — EU Consumers (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to withdraw from a digital subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.

However: By starting your Kambulo subscription and accessing paid features immediately, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the service and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the service has begun.

This waiver is confirmed by a checkbox at checkout. If you did not check that box, you retain the full 14-day withdrawal right and may request a refund at support@kambulo.com within 14 days of purchase.

5.5 Refunds

Except as required by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (see 5.4 above), subscription fees are non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, contact support@kambulo.com and we will review your case.

5.6 Failed Payments

If your payment fails, we will notify you by email. After a grace period, your account will be downgraded to the free tier until payment is resolved.

The free tier is subject to usage limits including but not limited to:

Current limits are displayed in your account dashboard. Limits are enforced server-side. Attempting to circumvent limits (e.g. by creating multiple accounts) is a violation of these Terms.

7. AI-Generated Content

7.1 Nature of AI Outputs

Kambulo uses artificial intelligence to generate cover letters, interview feedback, job analysis, and other content. All AI-generated content is:

7.2 No Employment Guarantee

Kambulo does not guarantee that using our platform will result in job interviews, job offers, or employment. AI-generated content is a tool to assist you, not a guarantee of outcome.

7.3 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sending it to employers. Do not send cover letters or other content that contains inaccuracies about your experience, qualifications, or background.

8. Your Content

8.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create on Kambulo — including your CV, job notes, cover letters, and personal information.

8.2 License to Us

By uploading content to Kambulo, you grant us a limited license to process and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

8.3 Content You Are Responsible For

You must not upload content that is false, misleading, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Kambulo, its logo, design, and all platform content (excluding your personal content) are owned by Mikail Odabas / Kambulo and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

12. Availability and Uptime

We aim to keep Kambulo available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or experience downtime beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch and EU law:

You agree to indemnify Kambulo and Mikail Odabas against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the platform in a way that harms a third party.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will:

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting support@kambulo.com. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands.
